Opening Source Files in the Editor

To edit a file you need to open it first. If you do not have an existing file yet you can create one in the explorer window by right-clicking on the folder where you wish the file to be created and choosing New and the template that you wish to use. In this case the file will be opened automatically.

In general there are three ways how to open a file in the editor:
  • Double-click on the file node in the explorer.
  • Right-click on the file in the explorer and choose Open from its contextual menu.
  • Use the features of the editor (such as Goto Source) or other module that result in opening a file in the editor.
